Michelle set up her private practice based in Hampshire in 2017 and has enjoyed working with the local community running several injury prevention lectures, training for local GP practices and new mums pelvic health education talks with groups such as NCT.

Along side her private practice Michelle works as the South West Clinical Lead Physiotherapist for the military. She has been working for the military since 2010, having qualified from Southampton University in 2007. Post qualifications Michelle completed her rotations within the NHS and gained further experience in sports physiotherapy working 5 seasons with Chelsea Football Club, including working as the senior physiotherapist for the Ladies 1st team. She is currently undergoing further studies towards an MSc in Advanced Manipulative Physiotherapy.

Her experience has included working at Headley Court, with Complex Trauma patients progressing their rehabilitation to restore function. Her proudest achievement has been training these service personnel to recover from traumatic war injuries to a level of fitness that enabled them to compete in competitive sports including Ironman triathlons! She was a founding member of the triathlon club for injured service personnel called “Team True Spirit’ (TTS). She continues to volunteer for TTS which is now part of Help for Heroes charity. Many of Michelle’s patients have pursued careers in competitive sport including; GB representatives and Paralympian’s.

As well as relating to male and female athletes Michelle recognises the wide range of issues, complications and niggles which affect mums’ bodies during and after pregnancy. She is a mum and loves staying active with her baby girl and her dog. Motherhood has lead to some adaptions to training and she has recently swopped her road bike for a more family friendly mountain bike with baby trailer!

Her relaxed approach and friendly professional manner make clients feel comfortable, at ease and empowered. Advanced training in pelvic health enables Michelle to quickly asses and diagnose, providing hands on treatment together with expert and practical advice. She will tailor a unique postnatal recovery plan in line with mums’ goals, returning them to functional fitness whilst also teaching pregnancy and postnatal pilates.

Whatever your physical ambitions, Michelle is dedicated to helping you recover from injuries and prevent future problems to ensure you achieve your own personal goals.
